Eric Amanquanor

Eric Amanquanor is a Ghanaian entrepreneur, business leader and industry advocate with over 25 years of experience across manufacturing, marketing, trade and business management. He currently serves as an Executive Member of the Association of Ghana Industries (AGI), Accra, where he contributes to the leadership and advancement of Ghana's industrial and private-sector community.

He is the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Amanex Company Limited, a Ghanaian manufacturing company operating in the household and cosmetics industry. Under his leadership, Amanex has grown into a recognised player in the sector, with a strong focus on local manufacturing, employment creation and the production of quality household and personal care products.

Mr. Amanquanor brings extensive practical experience as an entrepreneur and manufacturer to his role within AGI. His experience in building and managing a growing Ghanaian enterprise gives him a strong understanding of the opportunities and challenges facing businesses in Ghana, particularly in areas relating to manufacturing, business growth, employment creation and competitiveness.

As an Executive Member of AGI Accra, he is committed to contributing to the Association's efforts to promote the interests of Ghanaian industry, strengthen the private sector and create an enabling environment for businesses to thrive. His involvement reflects his broader commitment to supporting industrial development and encouraging sustainable growth among Ghanaian enterprises.

Under his leadership, Amanex Company Limited has achieved significant recognition, including ranking 7th overall and 1st in the Manufacturing category at the 19th Ghana Club 100 Awards in 2022, and 3rd overall and 1st in the Manufacturing category at the 20th Ghana Club 100 Awards in 2023. The company was also recognised as the 3rd Fastest Growing Company in 2022, and received the Toiletries & Cosmetics Sector Award at the 12th AGI Ghana Industry and Quality Awards in 2023 and the CSR SME of the Year Award at the 10th Ghana CSR Excellence Awards in 2023. Amanex has also created over 200 permanent jobs, contributing to employment and economic participation.

Prior to establishing and leading Amanex, Mr. Amanquanor held various professional and management positions across different sectors. His career includes experience with the Ghana Ports & Harbour Authority, advertising agencies, Angel Pharmaceutical Limited, CoolFresh Limited, African Business Bureau Limited and Commodity Merchant Limited.

He holds a Diploma in Shipping Management from the Institute of Export and Shipping Management, a Diploma in Chemical Engineering, and a Bachelor of Arts in Theology from Ghana Pentecost University College. He has also undertaken specialised training in cosmetics, household products, air freshener production and fragrance oil production in Ghana, Nigeria and Côte d'Ivoire.

Beyond his business and industry responsibilities, Mr. Amanquanor is a clergyman and founder of Christ Kingdom Mission International. He is also a member of the Eminent West African Nobles Forum.

His leadership is characterised by entrepreneurship, integrity, practical business experience and a commitment to creating value for businesses, employees and the wider community. Through his role with AGI Accra, he continues to bring his experience and perspective to efforts aimed at strengthening Ghana's industrial sector and promoting sustainable private-sector development.
